Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese had a rookie season to remember, averaging an impressive 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game before a wrist injury prematurely ended her campaign.

While her inaugural WNBA season showcased her potential as a future star, Reese knows there are areas of her game that need refinement as she prepares for a stronger 2025 return.

On Tuesday morning, Reese shared her offseason goals, outlining a plan to work on key aspects of her game.

According to Julia Poe of The Chicago Tribune, Reese’s checklist includes improving her nutrition, footwork, ability to finish through contact, and outside shooting.

Though a dominant force inside the paint, Reese has struggled with consistency in her shooting, particularly from long range.

This season, she shot just 18.8% from beyond the three-point line, an improvement over her collegiate numbers but still a weak spot.

Overall, her 39.1% shooting percentage was also below her college performance.

Recognizing these gaps, Reese is determined to take her game to the next level.

If she can successfully address these areas, her growth could position the Chicago Sky as playoff contenders in 2025. Sky fans and the league are watching closely, eager to see how Reese evolves as one of the WNBA’s rising stars.
