Jake Porter, 78, who mourned alongside Diddy at Kim’s funeral, is reportedly torn over the rapper’s shocking arrest. Jake revealed he had seen historicvideo footage from 2016, aired by CNN this year, showing Diddy assaulting then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Speaking to MailOnline, Jake opened up about his feelings towards the legalstorm surrounding his late daughter’s ex stating that he is “aware of [the allegations] from the news. When I saw the video of what he did to Cassie (Ventura). I was disgusted. I don’t really have much to say beyond that.” He continued: “Everyone’s innocent until proven guilty I guess, but the truthwill come out.”
Jake Porter also raised doubts about the investigation into his daughter’s death, which had been officially attributed to lobar pneumonia. He bluntly criticized the inquiry, calling it “a load of c—.” However, he stopped short of calling for a new investigation into Kim’s passing. Meanwhile, musician Al B. Sure!, real name Albert Joseph Brown, has been vocal about reopening the case. Following Diddy’s arrest, the 56-year-old took to Instagram on Monday, urging authorities to take another look at the circumstances surrounding Kim’s death.
He wrote: “I am writing this post to formally request an investigation into an entire group of individuals who worked at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter” – and named numerous people, although none have been in custody or charged with a crime.
He continued: “It has come to my attention that these persons were also instructed to steal her computer and mobile devices, which contained her ‘original book notes.’ Original notes are distinct from the fabricated bulls**t and offensive pages circulated via Amazon which depict graphic sexual acts involving me that NEVER took place and were edited and added after Ms. Porter’s tragicmurder.”
Despite the speculation, Kim’s death was officially ruled as due to natural causes, and no allegations of foul play have been made in connection with her passing. In his post, Al B. Sure! shared images from a publication titled Kim’s Lost Words: AJourneyfor Justice from the Other Side by Jamal Millwood, which claims to feature journal entries written by Porter during her relationship with Diddy. Brown asserts that the book “raises significantly more questions” about the circumstances surrounding her death.
