Cardi B Defends Risqué Dress Choice For Her 32nd Birthday Twerk Bash Amid Offset Split Drama

Cardi B’s 32nd birthday celebration sent the internet into a fever pitch as she twerked in a scandalous mini-dress. The performance, which took place at a lavish party in New York City, was a stark contrast to the recent news of her split from husband Offset.

Cardi B’s party theme was Bardi in the City, and she had a backdrop designed with that phrase in the same style and font as Sex and the City.

For an evening out with friends, including rapper French Montana, the Grammy winner wore a daring little black dress that turned heads and left little to the imagination.

The barely-there ensemble with a plunging neckline and revealing cut-out design also featured a partially sheer skirt accessorized with a bedazzled belt centered on the front.

Cardi completed her look with voluminous Hollywood curls, cat-eye glam, and a shiny gem just above her left cheekbone, with her back tattoos fully displayed in the trendy backless design.

The new mother of three partied the night away with her sister, Hennessy Carolina Almánzar, who posted several videos of Cardi twerking to the hit song “La Mamá de la Mamá” inside the nightclub.

On Sunday, the WAP hitmaker later took to Instagram to explain that she bought her dress from “Staten Dolls Gentlemen’s Club, where I worked for four years.” She claimed her original dress lacked “enough fabric,” prompting the purchase of the LBD.

“So let me tell ya about my little thotty dress.. the dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric… so I got my ass in a truck and went to Staten dolls gentlemen’s club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night… I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B.. they still treat me like CAMILLA (Fun fact.. that was my stripper name ),” Cardi B shared while posting a picture of the now-viral dress.
