Brittany Renner, a well-known media personality and fitness model, is facing backlash after revealing her conversion to Islam.

The announcement, which Renner made in August, has sparked significant attention, particularly as her personal style has drastically shifted.

Once known for flaunting her figure and bold fashion choices, Renner has embraced modest attire

    conservative approach to makeup.

Renner opened up about her decision to convert to Islam during an emotional video on Instagram, where she shared details about her personal struggles, financial challenges, and her concerns about providing for her son.

For a while, fans had been questioning her transformation, but Renner had remained silent—until now.

In her heartfelt Instagram post, Renner explained that her conversion was not something she actively sought out but rather felt guided by God.

“What made you choose Islam? I didn’t. I am a human with very limited power and awareness, but I have learned that God selects who He wills for His mercy,” she began.

Renner went on to detail her spiritual journey, acknowledging that she had spent years searching for truth and fulfillment, exploring astrology, numerology, and other beliefs.

Renner revealed that it wasn’t until she began acknowledging a higher power through prayer that she experienced what she described as “mountains being moved” in her life.

“Islam is the only religion I’ve been drawn to. And when I got the call, it was time, I took my shahada on August 5, and haven’t looked back,” she stated, referring to the Islamic declaration of faith.

The video has garnered mixed reactions from fans, with some applauding her for sharing her truth, while others continue to question her motives. Renner addressed the criticism head-on, noting that her decision to wear the hijab and live in accordance with her newfound faith is deeply personal.

“For once in my life, I’m doing this for me—to be right in the eyes of Allah,” she said.

Renner closed her statement by affirming her commitment to using her platform with purpose, embracing her journey, and sharing wisdom as she continues to grow.

“I have been gifted this platform for a reason, and I’m not going anywhere,” she concluded.
