Erica Mena Fires Back After Safaree Releases Explosive Wall-Climbing, Abuse Footage

Former Love & Hip Hop stars Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels have been embroiled in a public feud, with Safaree recently dropping shocking footage that appears to show Mena climbing his wall and engaging in abusive behavior.

The video, allegedly leaked by Safaree, shows Erica in a heated moment, climbing a wall at his home and engaging in what appears to be a physical altercation. The video has left fans stunned and the internet brimming with reactions, as both parties have a long history of public altercations since their split.

The can of worms opened earlier this week when Safaree sought to lower his child support payments for his four-year-old daughter, Safire Majesty, and a three-year-old son, Legend Brian. Safaree, a former Love & Hip Hop star, claimed he couldn’t afford the $4,305 monthly payments due to changes in his financial situation since the initial agreement.

At that time, Erica Mena responded by repeating her deadbeat dad allegations by posting a calendar claiming Safaree has only seen his children 16 times this year. Shortly after, Safaree replied with his own receipts.

On Wednesday (October 16), Safaree leaked security footage showing Mena repeatedly attacking him and his property, including at least one incident in front of their two children. One of the videos, which appears to have been taken at different times, shows Mena pushing her ex-husband and damaging items in the house.

The rapper/reality TV star also made further allegations in a recent YouTube post titled “Storytime: The Truth About Being a Deadbeat.” In the nearly 30-minute video, Safaree said his marriage to Mena “shouldn’t have happened,” as he ignored red flags about her parenting. He claimed Erica Mena’s first son with the late rapper Raul Conde was not present during his three-year marriage with Mena, leading him to believe she was an absentee mother.

Safaree also accused Erica of sending a naked photo of him to his mother and sister. He claims she said she did it because he wasn’t open about the nature of their relationship.

Shortly after the clip hit the internet, Erica took to social media to address the situation, offering her side of the story. She shared screenshots of alleged surveillance footage from May showing Safaree “begging” her to take him back.

“Explain why I was so enraged because how you violated my body,” she wrote on Instagram. She claimed the videos Safaree footage were from 2023, but she has recordings taken in 2024 that paint a different picture.

“Do you really want me to post you begging for me back just this past May on your knees in front of our kids?” she asked.
