Draya Michele couldn’t contain her excitement after learning that her baby daddy, Jalen Green, secured a jaw-dropping $106 million contract. The former reality star wasted no time celebrating on social media, and her reaction has fans buzzing.

Their relationship has been a hot topic on social media due to their 17-year age difference. Michele and Green have been in a romantic relationship since August 2023, and she announced her pregnancy in March.

On May 12, 2024, the Houston Rockets and former Basketball Wives LA star welcomed their first child together.

And now they have another reason to celebrate. Jalen Green signed a three-year, $106 million contract extension with the Houston Rockets this week, prompting Draya to cheer on social media.

According to ESPN, the 22-year-old’s agency announced on Monday (Oct. 21) that he signed a $106 million, three-year contract with the NBA team. Michele responded by showing her bae some public praise on Instagram Stories.

“Congrats!!!!! Term short, Money long,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, accompanying a screenshot of an ESPN post about Green’s contract.

In a second post, Draya reposted a caption written by Senior Editor Shams Charania, stating that Green is the “first NBA player to successfully negotiate a 2-plus-1 rookie extension on a nine-figure deal.” She also included a gold medal emoticon in that repost and wrote “Ever..”

Fans on social media flooded the comments section, with many reprimanding Draya for “acting like she won the lottery.”
