Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) UVA Rowing Head Coach Wes Ng had made a familiar addition to his coaching staff. Helen (Tompkins) Samaniego was a star for the Cavaliers from 2006-10, during her senior year on the Varsity Eight for UVA, she helped win the first NCAA team championship in the rowing program’s history. Virginia men’s basketball announced its 2024-25 non-conference schedule Thursday. The slate features 11 contests, including seven home games at John Paul Jones Arena.
