Man facing drug trafficking charges following traffic stop in Espanola
ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is facing drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop in Espnaola on Sunday night, according to New Mexico State Police. An officer was on patrol and said that he saw Issac Cruz, who he knew had an active felony warrant, driving on Rio Arriba County Road 40. The officer then pulled Cruz over and arrested him on the warrant.

Police Arrest Suspect in Denver Homicide
Las Cruces police arrested a shoplifting suspect Tuesday who had an active warrant for murder out of Colorado. Oscar Martinez, 48, from Denver, Colo., was arrested by Las Cruces police shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, near the intersection of Roadrunner Parkway and Foothills Road. Police were looking for a man matching his description who was suspected of shoplifting from a nearby Walgreen’s store.
