The Berks County Community Foundation has elected two new members to its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. D. Michael Baxter is a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine. After nearly 30 years, he retired from his position as Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Reading Hospital in 2019. Since then, he has served on numerous community non-profit boards and currently volunteers as a physician at the Berks Free Medical Clinic and Faith Care Medical Clinic.
