Gators Fall in Tight Opening Night Match
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Soccer battled with the Hawks of SUNY New Paltz on Friday night, falling 1-0 in the season opener. The Gators kept it tight, holding a 0-0 tie at the break. New Paltz, which returned 19 players from last year's squad, found the back of the net twice in the second half, one which got called back due to an offside penalty, and the other the game clinching goal.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team kicked off their 2024 campaign with a matchup against SUNY Poly as part of a tournament hosted by SUNY New Paltz. The Gryphons fell to the Wildcats from SUNY Poly by a score of 0-3 and will be returning tomorrow for their second and final game of the tournament.

SUNY New Paltz Cross Country Finish Fifth at Vassar Season Starter
Poughkeepsie, NY – The State University of New York New Paltz cross country program started its season on the road Friday afternoon at the annual Vassar Season Starter. The women ran a 3k and the men ran a 4k at the Vassar Farm with both sides finishing fifth out of the seven teams present at the meet. The men totaled 147 points landing them behind Union who finished in fourth with 80 points. The women ended the day with 133 points, just 28 behind Stevens who took fourth place.
Men's Soccer Falls in Season Opener at New Paltz
NEW PALTZ, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's soccer team opened its 2024 campaign with a 1-0 setback at the first day of the New Paltz Hawks Classic. The Hawks netted the lone score of the afternoon on a strike by Alex Wyant in the 63rd minute. Wyant found an opening in the middle of the Engineer's box to tuck away a feed from Brian Boylan.
