‘Sister Wives’: Is Robyn Brown Still Happy With Kody Brown?

As Sister Wives Season 19 remains in a holding pattern, one of the show’s most significant questions has yet to be answered. After his family’s downfall , with Kody separating from three of his four wives in three years, Kody and Robyn Brown are now a monogamous couple. However, while Kody appears besotted with Robyn , is she still happy with him?

Robyn Brown’s social media activity tells tales on her relationship status

Robyn Brown has disappeared from social media. She once utilized her Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts regularly. But these days, she only remains active on Pinterest.

Robyn’s Pinterest account has changed over the last several years. She used to have family and relationship boards attached to her account and even one dedicated “ For Kody .”

Today, all of her boards are religious in nature. While Robyn has professed to be a very spiritual person, some of her pins may be telling tales about the status of her relationship with Kody Brown.

For example, Robyn posted several pins about battles and finding peace. One reads, “Always remember God will give you direction about your situation, not confusion. Ask God for peace.”

A second says, “Nothing can pierce your armor when you have been dressed for battle by the Holy Spirit.” A third states, “You can pray all you want, but eventually, David had to pick up a stone and act against Goliath.”

What could all of Robyn Brown’s conflicted pins mean?

Speculation regarding the status of Robyn and Kody Brown’s relationship remains just that. When the couple appears together on camera or even in Kody’s Cameo account, they appear happy.

But since Sister Wives is a reality television series mired in conflict, the couple could pretend that all is well to appear stable amid the chaos surrounding them. In the past three years, Robyn and Kody have split from his former three wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine.

Many of Kody’s older children reportedly no longer have relationships with him. The family endured the horror of Garrison Brown’s death earlier this year.

Most of all, Sister Wives is no longer a show about polygamy. It’s now a show about separate families attempting to coexist.

Therefore, Robyn could be reacting to the family’s trauma. Or she could be referring to tough times with Kody, as she did in a Sister Wives Look Back: How It Started special.

Robyn said she would have thought twice about marrying Kody if he showed favoritism toward one wife. “If I would have seen him show favoritism or not be fair, I would have really probably backed away from it really fast.”

During a tell-all installment, Robyn also said that Kody had been self-sabotaging their marriage. She claimed, “I think he’s just been in such a dark place.”

While viewers will never know if Robyn is telling the truth about her relationship with Kody, here is what has been displayed in the TLC series: Since Season 1, Robyn has been adamant about having sister wives.

She said she craved the community experience not only for herself but also for her children. It appeared that the system worked with the Brown family for a short time until it didn’t.

Robyn and Kody had a stronger connection than Kody and his other wives. Therefore, they were drawn to each other, and Kody began to neglect his other relationships.

However, Robyn maintained that she wanted sister wives but allowed Kody to speak poorly about Meri, Janelle, and Christine and ignore their shared children . She didn’t force Kody to spend more time with his other families; instead, she relaxed into domesticity with him and their five kids.

So, while on paper, Robyn appeared to want the polygamist lifestyle, she didn’t work hard enough to achieve it. She was previously in a failed monogamous relationship but grew up in polygamy. Therefore, her attempt to balance the two worlds inevitably killed Kody’s other marriages when she couldn’t find the strength to allow him to nurture the other women the way she demanded he do with their relationship.
