Prince Harry Is ‘Not a Priority’ to Prince William Anymore and ‘Barriers Go Up’ When Harry’s Name Is Mentioned, Sources Claim

Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship can be described as practically non-existent today. Rumors have swirled for years that the two are on bad terms, with sources reporting that they don’t speak at all . Harry and William were once close, but when Harry began dating now-wife Meghan Markle and realized there were things about the family he didn’t like, cracks began to show in his relationship with William.

Now, sources close to the future king say William no longer considers his relationship with Harry a “priority” and doesn’t even like when his brother’s name is mentioned.

Prince William reportedly does ‘not’ consider Prince Harry a ‘priority’

Harry and William always had two different personalities growing up, but the brothers bonded over the unique connection of both being royals in a world that nobody else their age understood. They generally were close for years, but the moment Harry had a chance to find his true self with Meghan, he realized that he didn’t want to be a royal anymore. It led to major tension with William, and between 2018 and 2020, the brothers had a falling out. Though they still spoke for various reasons after 2020, they reportedly have not spoken since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

Now, sources claim William is no longer picturing a life with his brother in it. “It is understood the last time they did speak was at the queen’s funeral back in September 2022, and then it was very brief indeed,” royal expert Cameron Walker told GB News, according to Express . “[William] has three young children to think about; he’s the heir to the throne,” Walker said, adding that Harry is “not a priority.”

“Whenever I speak to people close to Prince William, the barriers go up when I mention his brother, the Duke of Sussex,” Walker added.

When Harry and Meghan left the family, there were constant stories that the Sussex and Wales couples would eventually work out their differences. People thought things would improve when Prince Philip died, when Queen Elizabeth died, and when both King Charles and Kate Middleton were diagnosed with cancer in the same year. But through all of those trials, William and Harry’s relationship did not grow.

With the brothers in different parts of the world, it seems less likely than ever that they will return to being one big, happy family. Of course, we can never say never, but considering William and Harry allegedly don’t speak, it would likely take a lot for the two to rebuild anything.
