Welcome to Plathville continues to evolve, as most TLC shows do, from focusing on a conservative family to watching their belief system fall apart. Olivia and Ethan Plath , the young, romantic couple of the series, are now divorced. The focus for a meaty storyline currently falls on Micah Plath, whose mystery girlfriend was recently unveiled. Will their relationship make the show more interesting, or will it go the way of other Plath unions?

‘Welcome to Plathville’: Will Veronica and Micah end up like Ethan and Olivia?

During the first episodes of season 6 of Welcome to Plathville , Micah Plath teased a new relationship. He was so serious about this young woman that he moved across the country from California to Florida to live with her.

However, he was hesitant to bring his new lady love on camera. He cited the demise of his brother Ethan and his sister-in-law Olivia’s relationship and his parents’ divorce, Barry and Kim, for his hesitancy.

Therefore, TLC only heightened the mystery surrounding Micah’s girlfriend by showing her from the back or with a slight profile. But Veronica Peters soon appeared on camera. In episode 6, the couple briefly spoke about their relationship and why she decided the time was right to debut on the series.

Veronica admitted she was insecure about appearing on Welcome to Plathville . She also shared that it was an adjustment to be part of a relationship where one person lives his life publicly.

Although fans haven’t seen much interaction between Veronica and Micah, she appears to hold all the cards in their relationship. She’s already successful, and Micah is rediscovering who he is after leaving his modeling career behind.

Both Olivia and Veronica appear to have many of the same headstrong characteristics. Is Micah set up for romantic failure like his brother?

Also, around the same time Veronica made her on-camera appearance, an Instagram page for Veronica Plath appeared. Is the couple secretly married?

Has there been a wedding between Micah and Veronica?

A new Instagram account linked Micah and Veronica, listing them as Micah and Veronica Plath. This led fans to believe that the couple was already married and that living together was a way to ease TLC’s viewers into a new storyline.

Veronica is a luxury real estate agent in Boca Raton, Florida. Her company page lists her as an agent with Premier Estate Properties. It reads Veronica was “A top student at FAU and graduated summa cum laude with the goal of selling luxury real estate in her hometown.”

In a post on her private/work page , it reads Veronica was recognized and ranked in Real Trends 2024 America’s Best for her work as a real estate agent. She wrote, “Proud to be in the top 1% of millions of agents across the United States and Florida.”

However, the duo immediately put the rumors to rest by adding a note underneath their Instagram account name. It reads, “Keep Jumping to Conclusions… This Is Our Joint Account.”

In a Reddit post regarding the TLC series, viewers subsequently shared their opinions regarding the couple. Sadly, it appears they have them set up for failure.

“But it sounds like another Plath boy getting into a relationship expecting to be taken care of like a child,” wrote one Redditor. “Y’all don’t think that their vibes together is weird?? Thus, their dynamic is weird. Listening to them talk was awful,” claimed a second viewer.

However, a third TLC fan wrote, “I hope she doesn’t end up being the new villain for Kim to blame the entire family’s deep-rooted emotional problems on.” A fourth piggybacked on that comment: “No, Kim is going to use her as an example of how she was never the vile MIL Olivia painted her out to be . She is going to get a favorable treatment for now.”
