Six months ago, the Princess of Wales ( formerly known as Kate Middleton ) publicly announced her cancer diagnosis and that she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy. Well in a new video message, the princess shared that she has completed her treatment and is “doing what she can” to remain “cancer-free.”
“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she said in an emotional video posted on Instagram . “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am, however, looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
Now, just about everyone is trying to figure out which engagement Kate will choose to make her return. Well, one royal expert thinks she knows just which major upcoming events the princess will attend.

Kate was then spotted on Aug. 25 as she, Prince William, and their children headed to a Sunday service at Crathie Church, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, near Balmoral Castle.
But there’s a big engagement coming up for the Prince of Wales that most royal watchers aren’t expecting his wife to be at. That is the Earthshot Prize Awards in November as the ceremony will be held in Cape Town, South Africa.

However, former BBC correspondent and royal expert Jennie Bond has said that she believes the two upcoming events Kate will be attending are Remembrance Day in November and then on Christmas at Sandringham.
Bond told Fabulous : “Big events, maybe such as the Cenotaph Remembrance Day service, might be something where she feels she would want to be … I think big set-piece occasions like that are where we might see her. I’m hopeful we might see her on Christmas Day at Sandringham. The natural progression would be for them to be together at Sandringham on Christmas Day.”
While Kate and the Palace have not released the timetable for her official return, there is a report that royal aides said a date before the Christmas holiday in which fans may likely see Kate is for the princess’s annual Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.
