Ben Affleck is looking to work on his physique as he jumps back into dating, according to a source. Here's what they said about his new habits.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are officially divorcing, and fans are anxious to see who first jump back into the dating scene. Several insiders alleged that Affleck and Robert F. Kennedy’s daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, were spotted getting to know each other. Another source recently said that Affleck hopes to phase out cigarettes and junk food as he jumps “back on the dating scene.”
Ben Affleck is allegedly trying to phase out cigarettes and junk food as he dives ‘back into the dating scene’
Bennifer fans hoped Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez would stay together forever when they got back together in 2021. Unfortunately, the couple called it quits just two years into their marriage. Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024. Photos leaked to the public showed Affleck ordering takeout to his apartment. This prompted speculation that he wasn’t taking care of his health.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Affleck hopes to hit the gym and work on building muscle in his lower body. “Ben’s always had this Achilles heel when it comes to his workouts — he keeps up with his cardio and lifts weights at home to keep his upper body tight …,” the source claimed. The insider added that Affleck “hates” working on his legs and glutes, so he intends to fix that moving forward.
The source alleged that the “divorce has him wanting to really buff up and get into the best possible shape—especially now that he’s back on the dating scene.”
In addition to Affleck’s workouts, he’s allegedly trying to cut back on cigarettes and junk food. “He may opt for some new tattoos at some point soon, too, but that’s another story,” the insider added.
Insiders alleged that Ben Affleck and Kathleen ‘Kick’ Kennedy had a fling before he got back together with J.Lo
After Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce, Ben Affleck and Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy were spotted in Los Angeles. Affleck’s representatives denied that they had any romantic involvement. However, a source told DailyMail.com that Affleck and Kennedy had a fling before Affleck got back together with Lopez in 2021.
“Ben and Kick had a fling before he got back together with J.Lo,” the source alleged. “They met because Ben is from Boston, and when you live in Boston, the Kennedy family is royalty.”
Now that the public has spotted Affleck and Kennedy, Affleck allegedly pulled away from the possible romance. Affleck allegedly doesn’t want the dating rumors to affect his divorce proceedings.
“He tried to erase Kick from his existence, and it was just not fair for her or for anyone who knows her,” another source told DailyMail.com. “He is trying to pull the ‘I don’t know her’ card, but what he failed to realize is that they weren’t the only two people in the world that knew that they used to hook up or that they were hanging out again.”
Jennifer Lopez is allegedly ‘working out like crazy’ following the divorce filing
“She’s working out like crazy, mornings and afternoons for hours at a time,” a source told Life & Style.
The source noted that Lopez “dropped” weight, which could be related to her mental health. However, the Hollywood queen wants to take control of her life and her body.
“Jennifer hates the direction her life has taken, and she can’t control what Ben’s doing, but she can manipulate her diet and exercise regime,” the source continued.
