But during his visit, some eagle-eyed royal followers saw a new pin on Harry’s suit, which they didn’t love. It was his Sussex symbol, an H and M that are intertwined and, of course, represent Harry and Meghan. But a few think he’s trying too hard to be America’s royal.

“That’s real desperation for relevance,” one person wrote on social media, according to Express .

“They are make believe Prince and Princess in the USA. Aren’t they a bit embarrassed?” another person commented.

Of course, people are always quick to criticize Harry and Meghan’s decision to continue to use their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles despite having removed themselves from the royal family.

Although people might not agree, Harry and Meghan do still have a right to represent themselves as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The only titles they cannot use are HRH titles (His and Her Royal Highness) because those are reserved for working royals. But at the end of the day, Harry is still the son of the king, and Meghan is his wife, so those titles remain in place regardless of the fact that they left the family.

Sure, Charles could probably remove the titles in some way, but with things already so strained, that might be the last straw that would confirm the family never reunites. Charles even gave Archie and Lilibet the titles of prince and princess when he took the throne so as to keep them included in the royal family tree.
