Meghan Markle has dealt with damaging claims about her character and work ethic recently, but the duchess is reportedly planning a comeback and no longer cares what people think.

Meghan Markle’s reputation has not exactly been where she wants it to be since the duchess relocated to the United States with Prince Harry back in 2020. Harry and Meghan share two children, and moving to the US allowed them to live a life more on their own terms, but the couple’s likeability — especially Meghan’s — has suffered as a result.

Now, though, in the wake of claims that Meghan is difficult to work with, she is reportedly planning a comeback and “doesn’t care” how anyone feels about it.

Meghan and Harry left the royal family for their own personal reasons. And while people might have accepted that the two didn’t want the structure and uptightness of being royals, many were displeased with the way Harry and Meghan chose to profit from telling their story. Ever since, the two have struggled to be well-liked by the public.

Then, in September 2024, a damaging article was released, quoting sources who supposedly used to work for Meghan, calling her difficult to work with and a “dictator in heels.”

Now, Meghan is planning to make a major comeback that takes her back to the way she was before she spent time in the royal family. It’s unclear whether it will work, but an insider says Meghan just “doesn’t care” anymore.

“Before she met Harry, she would always wear eye-catching outfits like that on the red carpet and would love the attention they would bring,” a source told OK! Magazine, referring to the bright red dress Meghan recently wore to a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles gala. “Since leaving, she has slowly been getting more daring with her choices.”

The source also added, “Both she and Harry are pursuing their own career goals and Meghan has decided that when she’s doing solo events, she’s going to be the star of the show … This is just the start of her fun and sexy new look.”

Recently, Harry and Meghan have been spending less time together in public. They have, instead, opted to attend some events solo, with Harry recently taking a trip to New York, the United Kingdom, and South Africa without his wife. In the meantime, Meghan attended the gala in LA.

It doesn’t mean anything is wrong in their marriage. Rather, many are seeing it as a divide-and-conquer type of approach, where the two feel like they can bring in different groups of people and ultimately create more likability around themselves. Time will tell if it works.
