The man also told the dispatcher that he ran around the neighborhood, looking for the child, but couldn’t find her. The 29-year-old man reportedly said that he was taking a nap when the child and his pet ‘disappeared’. </p><p>The man, who also told the dispatcher that he had mental health struggles and worked in multiple different places, later ‘claimed that the child must have been taken by some drug addict’. The responding officers searched the home and the area and found the child’s body in less than 30 minutes.</p><p>The medical examiner told investigators that the child suffered blunt force trauma to the head, but she died from stranguIation. The autopsy results also revealed that there were signs of se-ual assault, police officials said. County Prosecutor Kevin reportedly said the killing of a child younger than 14 is aggravated murder and is also a death penalty specification.
