Here is a look at the 2024 Shreveport Times All-Area boys high school track and field team.

The team covers schools from Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster parishes based on top performances by the athletes in the region.

Most Outstanding Track Athlete

Jamarcus Jones

Why selected: Jones won the 100 meters in 10.24 and the 200 meters in 20.68.

Most Outstanding Field Athlete

Javonte Taylor

North DeSoto, Jr.

Why selected: Taylor won the triple jump with a 46-2 leap and tied with the best high jump at 6-4.
