SRAC to offer a chance to cool down with first ever Water Day at Caddo Common Park

The Shreveport Regional Arts Council has a cure to the unrelenting summer heat by offering the first-ever Water Day at Caddo Common Park on Saturday, August 24.

A variety of water slides, designed for kids and adults, will offer fun for thrill-seekers and those who want a more laid-back experience.

A hands-on tie-dye activity will allow people to create their own colorful creations. The activity is free, but you are asked to bring your own shirts and materials to dye. However, T-shirts will be available for purchase on-site.

A free face painting booth will also be available to those who want to add some extra art to their day.

Local food trucks will be on-site for food and beverage needs.
