    So you want to be a part of the film industry? Robinson Film Center has a class for you.

    The Robinson Film Center is offering a class on the ins and outs of being a Production Assistant in the film and television industry called Ready, Set, Go! PA Class.

    The class is designed to get people ‘Set Ready’ by teaching critical tricks of the trade for the film industry.

    “You will learn about key aspects of set life, including general PA duties, set etiquette, who does what on set (and why), gear cases and rules, conflict resolution, running talent, call sheets, working around cameras, and much more,” according to their website.

    Taught by industry professionals with decades of experience in film and television, the class hopes to answer the most frequent question asked, “How do you get started in the film industry?”

    The Ready, Set, Go! PA Class is $100 for 3 sessions and will be held upstairs in the event space at RFC on Aug. 25, Sept. 1, & Sept. 8 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Sessions are not sold separately.
