    Top football performers in the Shreveport-Bossier City area for the week of Oct. 17-18

    Here's a look at the top performers in football from Thursday and Friday night in the Shreveport-Bossier City area for the seventh week of the LHSAA season on Oct. 17-18.

    Josh Brantley, Ruston: Brantley had a 70-yard TD run and another from two yards out in a loss.

    Hudson Brown, Minden: Brown scored three TDs for the Tide in a win.

    Collin Deere, Byrd: Deere rushed for three TDs and 134 yards in a win.

    CJ Dudley, Parkway: Dudley rushed for four TDs in a win.

    DOMINATORS: Defensive dominators: North DeSoto’s Javon Brown, Konner Watson support each other

    WEEK 7 ROUNDUPS: Prep football: Neville stops Ruston streak; Byrd, Parkway, Evangel, Loyola, Calvary among winners

    Mason Drake, Loyola: Drake scored twice on the ground and once on a reception in a win.

    Wyatt Gilbert, D’Arbonne Woods: Gilbert scored three rushing TDs in a win.

    Peyton Houston, Evangel: Houston completed 31 of 38 passes for 266 yards and two TDs in a win.

    Damascus “Tank” Lewis, Winnfield: Lewis ran for two scores and passed for another in a win over Many.

    Ladaunte McCoy, Ringgold: McCoy returned a kickoff for a score in a win.

    Julius Moss, Calvary: Moss rushed for 111 yards and three TDs in a win over Union Parish.

    Brady Pine, Parkway: Pine picked off two passes in a win.

    Jamarcea Plater, Captain Shreve: Plater rushed for 193 yards and two TDs in a road loss.

    Bryce Restovich, Loyola: Restovich tossed five TD passes in a win.

    Doran Sadler, D’Arbonne Woods: Sadler ran for two TDs and had a key interception to set up another score in a win.

    Brodie Savage, Captain Shreve: Savage passed for 213 yards and two scores in a loss.

    Ben Taylor, Airline: Taylor passed for four TDs and ran for another in a win.

    Quinton Wilson, Woodlawn: Wilson had two rushing scores and added a couple of two-point conversions in a loss.
