Mass. weather: Chance of rain, thunderstorms almost daily this week
After a pleasant day with highs in the mid-80s, Massachusetts will experience unsettled weather Monday evening that could be marked by heavy rainfall and localized flooding. But National Weather Service forecasters say the heaviest rainfall is likely to occur offshore, though there is a chance Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard or even Cape Cod are hit hard. The weather service said it could not “rule out” rotating thunderstorms impacting the Cape and Islands overnight.

Ashland motorcyclist killed in crash with car in Holliston, police say
An Ashland man died Sunday evening after he crashed with a car while riding a motorcycle in Holliston, according to police. Andrew Palumbo, 62, was killed in a crash that happened around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Prentice and Mill Streets, Holliston police said in a press release. Officers found Palumbo in the road with multiple injuries and treated him at the scene.
