Kubota Garden is a beautiful landscape of twenty acres in South Seattle. It combines Japanese concepts with Northwest plants.

The park is a historic landmark acquired by the city from Fujitaro Kubota, the estate of a master landscaper.

The park is at 9817 55th Ave S, Seattle, Rainier Beach. It opens seven days a week, and the timings are 6:00 am- 10:00 pm. It is a set of waterfalls, streams, ponds, bridges, hills, valleys, rock out-croppings with an extensive selection of plant material.

The garden is open to the public every day during daylight hours all year round. School children, senior groups, tourists, and garden clubs make up a big audience.

The main features of the Kubota Garden include the Kubota Terrace, the Bamboo Grove, the Necklace of Ponds, the Mountainside, and the Tom Kubota Stroll Garden. The garden contains several trees and plants like Kuretake, Japanese maple, Blue Atlas Cedar, and Norway Spruce.
