BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Rescue teams are searching for a man who they believe drowned Monday at Sutton Lake in Braxton County, law enforcement said. Kentucky doctor sentenced to prison for illegally prescribing drugs to undercover patients
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WCHS) — A Pikeville, Kentucky, doctor was sentenced to prison Monday for illegally prescribing amphetamines to undercover patients, federal prosecutors said. Jason Stamper, 52, was sentenced to 32 months in prison after pleading guilty in a 2022 investigation where he prescribed amphetamines to multiple patients without a legitimate medical purpose, a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky said.
