Shreveport Man Arrested After Leading Police on High-Speed Chase
SHREVEPORT, LA- Man Arrested After Fleeing from SPD. Shreveport Police have arrested 21 year-old DeAndre Washington for numerous offenses following a traffic stop that began at Jewella Avenue and Hollywood Avenue. Washington refused to stop, leading officers on a chase that ended with his arrest in the 3900 block of Liaison Drive.
Shreveport man arrested for reportedly punching officer after being asked to leave casino
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — A Shreveport man faces charges after reportedly punching a police officer after being asked to leave the premises of a downtown casino. Police say it happened July 21 around 11:45 p.m. Officers were called out to a casino in the 300 block of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway to help casino security personnel with a man who was refusing to leave. When officers got there, they tried to de-escalate the situation; however, the man punched one of the officers, police say.
