Side Lake taking registrations for Fourth of July parade

SIDE LAKE — The Side Lake Fourth of July parade starts at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 4.

Registrations are being accepted for parade entries and floats. There are also opportunities to volunteer.

Lineup is at 9 a.m. on Sturgeon Road.

Pre-registration applications are available at the Side Lake Store, CC Campground and online at sidelake.org/events.

Prizes are awarded for grand prize through third place.

Firecracker 5K to be held at Side Lake

SIDE LAKE — The Firecracker 5K walk/run is set for Saturday, July 6 in Side Lake.

Start and finish is at Bimbo’s Octagon. Packet pick up begins at 7 a.m. Cost is $30

for Adults (18+) and $25 for children.

Same day registration cost is $40 Adult and $25 Children.

If you choose not to get a T-shirt, the price is $15 less.
