An El Paso middle school bans all-black clothing, citing mental health concerns
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An El Paso middle school is banning students from wearing all-black clothing due to it being associated with mental health issues. A letter sent to parents by Charles Middle School's principal, Nick DeSantis stated that this school year they will be eliminating all-black clothing for students to wear because it is "associated with depression and mental health issues".

Shooting near Fiesta Foods leaves one dead
Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 44-year-old man who they say was attempting an armed break-in at an apartment complex on Wednesday evening. A news release sent out by the Las Cruces Police Department confirming the incident did not name the victim or any possible suspects.
