University of Arizona dropping use of 'UArizona' name
TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Arizona is again revising how it refers to itself to the public. As of July 1, the Tucson-based university was retiring the "UArizona" name it had begun using in press releases a few years ago. The university will simply refer to itself as "Arizona" or "U of A" on secondary references in communications and marketing materials, according to the university's updated style guidelines.
Orme to lead Family Farm Alliance

Strong winds and heavy rainfall remain storm threats throughout the week with high temperatures in Tucson topping out 4° to 7° above normal. Heading into the weekend, high pressure will shift westward and strengthen, giving us a northeasterly flow. This will increase our chance of seeing storms fire up off the higher terrain and Mogollon Rim, before pushing into the lower deserts.
