Woman Charged With Stealing Lost Property
A Hopkinsville woman was charged with stealing lost property at the Wal-Mart on Clinic Drive on June 27. According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, 33-year-old Leandra Green took a wallet and Samsung phone that was reported lost inside the store. Police said she discarded the phone in a trashcan where it was recovered by store staff.

UPDATE: BGPD investigating death of man found underneath railcar
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is conducting a death investigation. According to an investigation report, a train was traveling north on the railroad passing behind the Train Depot located at 401 Kentucky Street. The CSX conductor told police that he observed a subject passed out and lying down in the roadway. Upon discovery of the subject, the conductor stopped the train. The conductor notified dispatch of the subject lying down on the tracks.
