Free Back to School Supply Locations August 17th-18th Throughout Illinois

As Illinos prepares for Back to School we have scavengered up several locations helping families with supplies and ra ra for the 2024 to 2025 school year.

Chicago's southside will host back to school events at several locations, with fun, games, haircuts, manicures, and more.

Locations for Chicago are as followed:

• BSLMC - 5222 S. Halsted St. - Chicago, IL from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• 9356 S Justine, Chicago, IL 60620 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• 500 E. 67th St., (67th & Eberhart) 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Forman Mills at 122 W 79th St 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Reach For The Stars Child Care, they are also hiring, 410 e. 65th st 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For their grand opening there will be a PETTING ZOO, FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES, FUN GAMES , DJ And FREE FOOD AS SUPPLIES LAST !!!
• 1215 e 83rd st , Avalon Park, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. hosted bt The Peace for Preston Foundation
• Nightingale School, 5250 S. Rockwell St, Chicago, IL 60632 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• LCCO's Back to School Bash in partnership with Dunkin Donuts NEXT Saturday, August 17th, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 5707 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60639.

Joliet will host throughout the weekend, Sunday August 18th at 199 Mills rd from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with bouncy house and free food. As well as Saturday August 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 300 block of North Bluff rd.

Calumet City will have a back to school event at Memorial Park, Saturday, August 17th startting at 12 p.m. First Come first serve on backpacks. Face paing, carnival rides and more.

East St Louis Illinois will host it's second annual Brandon E Scott back to school event, giving away backpacks and supplies will item last, starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday August 17th. Location for event is 5300 North Park Drive, the Village of Washington Park.

Springfield Illinois can enjoy live music by Dee J Jumpman, and food from Tick’s Backyard BBQ on August 18th from 2 p.m. - 5p.m. As well as back to school haircuts and Face painting at 320 W. Highland avenue, Springfield Il . There will also be free gift giveaways to kids.

Alsip Illinois The Lighthouse is hosting a mega back to school event on Saturday with FREE BOOKBAGS!! FREE HAIRCUTS FOR YOUTH!!! FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL PHYSICALS!!! FREE GOSPEL MUSIC CONCERT!!! OVER 30 VENDORS!! Lighthouse Church Campus 4501 W. 127th Street 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., and mobile DMV.

North Aurora will have car show back to school event at 210 Airport rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 17th. This event will have many vendors and businesses with great resource's information for the public. FREE Backpacks & Supplies (While supplies last) 1 Backpack w/ Supplies per school aged child. CHILD MUST BE PRESENT.

Back to School Fun & Wellness Community Fair will be hosted in Matteson Illinois – Visit Colin Powell Middle School (Elementary School District 159) on Saturday, August 17th to celebrate the back-to-school season! Receive free school supplies, participate in giveaways, visit the adventure zone, enjoy food and drinks, play to win raffles, indulge in resources, and more! Also available at this event is voting registration, being sanctioned at the clerk’s table, so be on the lookout! This event will occur from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.. Don’t miss out.

At 312 E. Bradley ave in Champaign on August 17th from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. there will be aback to school bash Hosted by CHM Bible Theatre featuring arts and craft and talent shows.

FREE food, FREE games, FREE book bags w/school supplies, a bouncy house, a live DJ, FREE HAIRCUTS!?!?! Come out and hangout with Monroe Baptist Church - Bellwood, IL.! Saturday, August 17th from 12 P.M. - 4 P.M..

At 1S100-Route-47-Elburn-IL-60119 from 12 P.M. -3 P.M. on August 17th, there will be free food, games, bouncy hose, snow cones, and more.

All Tony Fresh Mart will host back to school giveaway on August 17th starting at 8 a.m. for the first 200 children to arrive.
