Free Back To School Supplies In Illinois August 24th - 25th Weekend

If you saw my last article about back to school, I promised to share details for this upcoming weekend, and boy are people giving.

Here are some free back to school giveaways in Chicago.

Hosted by Alderman Lemont Robinson, Insight Hospital at 2525 s. Prairie ave will be hosting their back to school event from 10:30 a.m to 2 p.m on Saturday August 24th. There will be haircuts, braiding, manicures, food, music, bouncy house, a fire truck and celebrity guest Polo G according to Facebook details. As well as a shredding service on site from 11 a.m to 2 p.m.

Chicago artist Korporate and Shaun Redwell, host of the Chicago Sky is hosting their first annual back to school event at 10202 s. Cottage Grove at 1 p.m on August 24th, this event will include an Allstar Basketball game, with additional guests as stated during an interview on Fox.

At 3701 w. 63rd street, on Sunday Auguast 25th, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m Jacqueline Cervera Farmers insurance will be giving away backpacks, haircuts, pizza, and more. Along with food vendors, games, music, and entertainment.

From 1 p.m to 4 p.m at Unity Park, 1900 s Kostner, a Rock your Decade back to school event will take place this Saturday Aug. 24th, giving away 200 back packs, a bike raffle, and more. They will entertain with a Youth Summer Showcase, DJ, facepainting and talent hour.

Gospel and Jazz will hit the stage at 201 e. 111th st in Chicago, Saturday August 24th from 9:00 a.m to 6 p.m. They will give away school supplies, food, and more.

• 1343 w 87th st August 25th 10 a.m to 4 p.m
• 6401 Stoney Island August 25th 12 p.m to 3 p.m
• 1130 w 51st st. August 24th 5 p.m to 7 p.m
• 11618 s. Michigan August 24th 1 p.m to 4 p.m
• 3658 s State August 24th 1 p.m to 4 p.m
• 361 e 85th st August 24th 2 p.m to 6 p.m

Illinois South suburbs will be hosting back to school free supply giveaways as well.

Chicago Heights on August 24th at 109 n. Halsted from 10 a.m to 2 p.m will hadn out supplies with entertainment, As well as 2323 Halsted st 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Sauk Village will also host a back to school giveaway at 21801 Torrence ave, Sauk Village IL 60411 on Saturday August 24th from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. They will have entertainment from Jesse White Tumblers, free physicals, live music, food, games, face painting, and more.
