    Silver Alert canceled for 31-year-old Lawrence County man

    UPDATE:

    LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – The Silver Alert issued for R.C. McDuffey has been canceled.  He has been located and is safe, according to MBI.


    LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A Silver Alert has been issued for a 31-year-old Lawrence County man.

    Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said R. C. McDuffey, of Silver Creek, was last seen on Friday, July 5 around 10:00 a.m. on Alton Road in Lawrence County, driving south.

    McDuffey has a barcode tattoo on his neck and a sleeve tattoo on his arm. He is believed to be in a gray 2021 Ford Bronco bearing the Mississippi tag 092LWA. According to MBI, the Ford Bronco was last seen at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 7 at the intersection of LA 3127 and LA 3142 in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana.

    Family members said McDuffey suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
