Car crashes into northeast Baltimore home, trapping family inside
A car crashed into a northeast Baltimore home, trapping people inside. The family who lives in the Knell Avenue home said there were four people inside Saturday night when the car crashed into the side of the house. One teenager and an adult were able to get out of the home on their own, while two other adults were trapped in the basement.
Community Rallies Around Family After Tragic Housefire
Last Friday, around 55 firefighters responded to a house fire in the 11400 block of Neelsville Church Road in Germantown. An 80-year-old man was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, and a family of six has been displaced. A GoFundMe campaign has been created which has currently raised over $2,400 in donations.

Fourth person given life sentence for 2016 Mercersburg contract killings
22 July 2024- The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced today that Christopher Van Johnson, age 36, of Baltimore, Maryland, was sentenced on July 17, 2024, to 7 consecutive life sentences for his role in the June 25, 2016 murders of three individuals in Mercersburg, Franklin County, one of whom was cooperating with state and federal drug investigators. The sentence was imposed by United States District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner, who also sentenced to concurrent 10, 20, and 30-year terms of imprisonment on companion robbery, firearms, and conspiracy charges.

ManTech has secured a spot on an $8 billion contract from the FBI to enhance digital modernization. Under the second iteration of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Information Technology Supplies and Support Services blanket purchase agreement contract, ManTech plans to implement IT services ranging from AI, cognitive cyber, intelligent systems engineering and mission IT, the Herndon, Virginia-based company announced on Monday.
