A nonprofit cat rescue plans to open a cat café in 2025 in Enfield, Connecticut, just over the Massachusetts state line. Enfield Community Cat Project shared the initial phase of opening the café in a post on its Facebook page. The nonprofit works with the town of Enfield to rescue homeless and abandoned cats, provide veterinary care for sick or injured cats and place cats in foster care.

From Westfield, historic F-15C fighter jet arrives at New England Air Museum
WINDSOR LOCKS, Connecticut — Preparing for the arrival of new F-35s, the 104th Fighter Wing donated a historic F-15C Eagle jet on Monday to the New England Air Museum. Col. Michael “Shot” Glass, operations group commander for the 104th based at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, flew the 48-year-old F-15C Eagle on its last flight, a hop from the base in Westfield to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, where the New England Air Museum is located, a distance of just 15 air miles and across the state line.

The developer of the project is Glastonbury resident, Michael Guidicelli. He is currently looking for an established brewer to go in and run their own brewery.
