Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical coming to Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa ( KCAU ) —  Get into the Christmas spirit early by getting tickets to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical , coming to the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre.

According to a release, the critically acclaimed live stage show will be hitting the stage on Thursday, December 19. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased in person at the Primebank Box Office or on the Orpheum website .

Siouxlanders will be able to experience the Christmas phenomenon that first premiered on television in 1964 and has been delighting audiences for almost 60 years.

The release says that Siouxlanders will feel like they’re at the North Pole with the set designs featuring a 12-foot-plus-tall Abominable Snow Monster. Additionally, the talented cast will bring high-energy renditions of beloved classic songs such as “Fame and Fortune,” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Additionally, as part of a partnership with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, the show offers a free toolkit to educators that uses powerful messages from the Rudolph story to help celebrate people’s differences, according to the release.
