Board president Jan George talked about the recent flooding in Riverside and its impact on teachers and how it will impact students during the school year.

“We do a great job of supporting the students when things, natural disaster or family tragedy, whatever it might be,” George said. “We have a great support system here in the district.”

George said the district opened its doors for people and provided the people of Riverside with a lot of assistance to help with the flooding.

The next school board meeting will take place on August 12 at p.m.
