SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – We’re in the thick of the baseball season, and one team is getting ready to play at Iowa’s most famous baseball field.

The Miracle League of Sioux City hosted a fundraiser at Marto Brewing Company Wednesday evening. Donations raised from the silent auction as well as a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Marto’s “Be The Reason Beer” will go towards The Miracle League’s trip to the Field of Dreams next week.

“This is actually the first time that there will be a Miracle League game at the Field of Dreams, so we’re super pumped for that occasion,” executive director Braxton Hinders said. “The Miracle League went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee last year, we played in the Cal Ripken experience, so we’re trying to make a trip [every year] and the Field of Dreams is a really cool opportunity.”

This is the third year Marto Brewing has sold their “Be The Reason Beer” in partnership with the Miracle League.
