Western Iowa Tech to host Child Care Gallery Walk

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Western Iowa Tech Community and Growing Community Connections will be hosting a Child Care Provider Gallery Walk.

The Gallery Walk is an event for early childhood professionals, including in-home care providers, preschool and Head Start teachers, and childcare center employees, according to a Western Iowa Tech press release.

The areas of focus for the walk will include struggles facing the early childhood care, education landscape in the community, as well as capacity building, provider resources, family needs, and tri-state challenges.

The Gallery Walk will take place on Tuesday, July 23, and Thursday, August 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Rocklin Conference Center.

The walk will be in partnership with SHI, Iowa Child care Resource and Referral, Communities for Kids, Nebraska Early Learning Connection, and Early Childhood Iowa.
