SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Siouxland Federal Credit Union has announced that they have donated $15,000 to the Siouxland Recovery Fund.

In a release, the Siouxland Federal Credit Union stated that they made this donation to help assist flood victims as the community recovers from the recent disaster.

“We previously delivered several cases of water to both Riverside Lutheran Church and Isaac Walton League recently,” president Joel Steenhoven said. “With this latest monetary donation, we hope those in need will continue to be helped, as they rebuild their homes and lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected.”

Much of the Siouxland area was devastated by flooding in late June. This has led multiple organizations to partner to create the Siouxland Recovery Fund . KCAU 9 and its parent company Nexstar made a donation to the fund earlier this month.
