    Frelon Drive to close due to grading, trail paving

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The City of Sioux City Parks & Recreation Division announced the closure of Frelon Drive from Iowa 376 to Leadingham Drive.

    According to a press release, this closure will allow the City’s contractor to complete grading and trail paving along Frelon Drive.

    Residents of Evergreen Village will have access to Willmaser Drive and Leadingham Drive via Frelon Drive from C80.

    The southbound lane of Frelon Drive will remain passable for local and emergency response traffic.

    The closure will begin on the morning of Monday, Aug. 5, and is expected to be completed in six weeks.

    Drivers are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs with regards to this closure.
