The release specified that a semi-trailer transporting the oil was not secured properly and spilled in multiple areas.

The intersections were coated with sand to help improve conditions and soak up some of the oil.

The release noted that anyone driving north or south on Floyd and Dace Boulevard to 33rd Street should drive carefully due to the slippery conditions.
