Tornado Warning Issued for St. Cloud, Clear Lake
(KNSI) – A tornado warning has been issued for St. Cloud and Clear Lake. The warning is in effect until Saturday at 8:45 p.m. Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over St. Cloud, moving southeast at 40 mph. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include St. Augusta and St. Cloud Airport.

ROCHESTER Minn.-- Minnesota House Rep. Kim Hicks (DFL-Rochester) became victim to a hate crime that occurred at her home early Saturday morning. KIMT NEWS 3 was on the scene where political signage in Rep. Hicks’ yard was vandalized with graffiti swastikas, racial slurs, and Ku Klux Klan signatures. Her backyard shed was also vandalized. Hicks told KIMT a side window also had a hole in it. According to Rep. Hicks, and her husband Lamar, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
