    Road reopens after Sissonville crash

    UPDATE: (6:30 P.M. Thursday, July 18) – Allens Fork Road has reopened after a crash in Sissonville. The crash had one lane of traffic temporarily closed.

    Kanawha County dispatchers say no injuries were reported in the crash.


    KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – One lane of traffic is shut down on a Sissonville roadway due to a crash.

    According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the crash happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Allens Fork Road. Two vehicles were involved.

    Dispatchers say the crash has closed one lane of traffic, and they do not know how long the closure will remain in place.

    There is no word at this time if anyone was injured.

    The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department and Kanawha County EMS are on scene.
