Lighthouse Restoration Preserving the Past for the Future
First major project for Eagle Bluff Lighthouse since 1963 includes stabilization, restoration and reconstruction. The first phase of restoration at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park has come to a close with the structure now stable and clean. The Door County Historical Society (DCHS) will continue its efforts to interpret the space as it existed from 1883 to 1918 by renovating the lighthouse to add electrical, and reconstructing buildings that used to exist on the grounds.
