Man found shot, killed inside car in downtown Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after a shooting in downtown Louisville early Sunday morning. Ohio is getting another chunk of money from the Biden administration to clean up and plug abandoned oil and natural gas wells that plague the state's countryside. The Interior Department has awarded the state $57.25 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the federal law passed in 2021 that commits $1.2 trillion to fix roads and bridges, expand internet access, provide access to clean water, improve ports, invest in public transportation and other purposes. The law provides $16 billion to address what the Biden administration calls legacy pollution by reclaiming abandoned coal mines and plugging orphaned wells.

When to expect lane closures for survey work on Brent Spence Bridge
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Crews will be performing overnight survey work on the Brent Spence Bridge beginning Monday, and that will require overnight lane closures. The work ahead of the Brent Spence Corridor Project includes completing a mobile LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) scan of the bridge, allowing the Ohio Department of Transportation and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to create a high accuracy model using eye-safe laser measurements.
