A nearly 10,000-square-foot home on Lake Keowee could be yours for $12 million which would put you in elite company in terms of Upstate home sales.

David Vandeputte of Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty has listed 132 Mountain Shore Trail in Six Mile, which sits on 1.75 acres and features 1,000 feet of shoreline on Lake Keowee, according to a news release.

The property is located on its own peninsula connected to the land only by a bit more than the width of the driveway, the release stated. It offers 360-degree views of sunrises, sunsets and mountains.

“The home and setting can be summed up in four words: remarkable beauty, extraordinary view,” Vandeputte said in the release.

Built in 2013, it features six bedrooms, seven baths, a five-and-half-car garage, an elevator connecting all three floors, a 48KW Generac generator should power be lost, entertainment spaces indoors and out, and a heated saltwater pool plus a hot tub, the release stated.

The house is being sold turnkey with all the furniture and appliances included. Also, conveying with the sale are two boats: a 25-foot Barletta tri-toon boat and a 27-foot Cobalt bowrider, the release stated.

When it sells, it will break the sales price record for an Upstate private residence, which is held by Joan Herlong, whose Belle Terre listing went for $9 million in 2022, according to the release.

The under roof outdoor kitchen features a Wolf grill, as well as a big green egg; the high, reclaimed wood ceilings, beams, and European white oak floors add to the home’s appeal, the release stated.

Guests can stay in the main floor guest ensuite or take the elevator and retreat to any of the two other private ensuites on the upper level, the release stated. The home can comfortably sleep 19 people.

The home is located in the Cliffs at Keowee Springs, one of the most desirable communities in Upstate, according to the release. Members enjoy many resort-like amenities, including seven highly rated golf courses, fine dining, tennis, pickleball, hiking and workout facilities, the release stated.
