Annual fireworks show held at Big Lake
BIG LAKE — A fireworks show was held at Big Lake on Wednesday for the 60th time. The 3rd of July Fireworks Show is put on each year by the Big Lake Firefighters Association. Donations were collected to go toward helping the fire district purchase new equipment such as radios, jaws of life and other lifesaving equipment. Other fireworks shows were held Thursday throughout Skagit County.
First participants in Startup School graduate
The Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County has graduated its first class of entrepreneurs through Startup School.
