Skagit County commissioners reauthorize Clean Water Program
The Skagit County Board of Commissioners reauthorized Tuesday the county’s Clean Water Program. The program was created in 2005 to implement a plan to protect and improve water quality in shellfish growing areas within the county Shellfish Protection District. Skagit County has been dismissed as a defendant in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of a man shot and killed by a Sedro-Woolley police officer in February 2022.
