Officials find missing, endangered 85-year-old in Henderson Co.
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons said a missing and endangered man has been found in Henderson County. According to officials, 85-year-old Richard Lee Dulin was last seen leaving a home in Hendersonville in a red Ford F150 with North Carolina license plate: HD62688. The truck has a “very large” trailer hitch.

Blazing a new trail, Saluda Grade line moves closer to development
SPARTANBURG COUNTY — Developing the Saluda Rail Trail moved a step closer with the project recently getting more grant funding. Norfolk Southern agreed in February 2023 to sell its abandoned line to The Saluda Grade Trail Conservancy. Legislatures from South Carolina and North Carolina have committed a combined $27 million for the project. Now, the project has been awarded a $450,000 federal grant from the Appalachian Regional Initiative for Stronger Economies.
